Người Bên-gia-min ra đón dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, bị dụ xa thành. Y như hai lần trước chúng khởi đánh và giết mấy người của dân Y-sơ-ra-ên, chừng ba mươi người, tại trong hai con đường trải qua đồng bằng đi lên, một ngả tới Bê-tên, và ngả kia tới Ghi-bê-a.

E i figliuoli di Beniamino uscirono incontro al popolo, e furono tratti fuor della città; e cominciarono, come l’altre volte, a uccidere alcuni del popolo, in su le strade, delle quali l’una sale in Betel, e l’altra sale in Ghibea, nella campagna; che furono intorno a trenta uomini d’Israele.

Orang-orang Benyamin menyerbu juga, dan terpancing untuk keluar dari kota. Seperti yang sudah-sudah, mereka mulai membunuh orang-orang Israel di daerah terbuka di luar kota pada jalan yang menuju ke Betel dan pada jalan yang menuju ke Gibea. Tiga puluh orang Israel terbunuh.

Maka majulah bani Benyamin menyerbu laskar itu; mereka terpancing dari kota, dan seperti yang sudah-sudah, mereka mulai menyerang laskar itu pada kedua jalan raya--yang satu menuju ke Betel, dan yang lain ke Gibea melalui padang--sehingga terbunuh beberapa orang, kira-kira tiga puluh orang di antara orang Israel.
