Nguni't si Amasa ay hindi nagingat sa tabak na nasa kamay ni Joab; sa gayo'y sinaktan siya sa tiyan, at lumuwa ang kaniyang bituka sa lupa, at hindi na siya inulit pa; at siya'y namatay. At si Joab at si Abisai na kaniyang kapatid ay humabol kay Seba na anak ni Bichri.
