Orada yaşayan halkı dışarı çıkarıp testereyle, demir kazma ve baltayla yapılan işlerde, tuğla yapımında çalıştırdı. Davut bunu bütün Ammon kentlerinde uyguladı. Sonra bütün ordusuyla birlikte Yeruşalim'e döndü.
